The 24th national Society Awards was live streamed form the Sheraton Athlone Hotel on July 29th due to Covid-19 restrictions on gatherings of over 50 people. The awards nomination process entailed submitting an application, portfolio and a 5 minute video (instead of an interview). The Adjudicators deliberated during June and communicated via Zoom. BICS Executive members Michelle Whyte, Dave Cuddihy, Ríona Hughes, Kaytee Behan and Cameron Keighron presented the awards ceremony from the penthouse suite in the Sheraton with the technical support of Ollie and Dave from Woodstock Media. The Judges submitted videos announcing the winners, and the winners were live streamed from all over Ireland, rom their homes, or in small gatherings (following government guidelines), both virtual and live. The event started at 7pm and finished at 9.30pm.
